June 5th marked the third convocation ceremony for students of the Therapeutic Touch Practitioner Certificate Program at Langara College. This year saw the convocation at the Orpheum Theatre - what a beautiful venue! This year we saw four more graduates: Alana, Heather, Vera, and Ling Ling. What a great accomplishment!

Pictured here are: Instructors: Tama and Cheryl, Graduates: Heather and Alana, Instructors: Frances and Marie, Manager of Health and Human Service: Linda.

Unable to attend and also pictured here is Ling Ling at the completion of the Therapeutic Touch Mentorship course.

Also unable to attend, Vera (right) now living in Hong Kong, is pictured with Cheryl at the completion of the Therapeutic Touch Mentorship course.

The Therapeutic Touch Practitioner Certificate Program can be completed in a minuimum of one year or up to three years.  Students report they have a deep level of understanding, an increased level of confidence, and a deep sense of connection with their classmates and the Therapeutic Touch community as a whole. Providing Therapeutic Touch sessions in various health care facilities in different communities adds to the richness of the experience.
